  • Procedures

    Applications for reserving a school facility will be accepted on June 15th from residents of the Fort Zumwalt School District (if the 15th falls on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, sign-ups will be on Monday). Sign-ups begin at 8am. Sign-up dates for the next three (3) school years are as follows:

     

    2017-2018 School Year - Thursday, June 15, 2017

    2018-2019 School Year - Monday, June 18, 2018

    2019-2020 School Year - Monday, June 17, 2019

  • Each group is allowed one facility and one time slot per application. Applications must be filled out completely. Our elementary buildings close at 9 pm and our secondary buildings close at 10 pm.

    All Applications for Facility Usage terminate at the end of the current school year.

    Use of district high school auditoriums.

    Use of district fields and use of district parking lots.

     

    Insurance for Facility Usage 

    The Fort Zumwalt School District requires all groups using district facilities to provide proof of insurance in the form of a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with a minimum of one million in liability coverage and naming Fort Zumwalt School District as additional insured (example). A Fort Zumwalt School District Agreement to Hold Harmless and Indemnify Form (AHH) will be accepted for groups with 20 or less participants. This Agreement must be complete and notarized for Fort Zumwalt School District to accept (instructions and form). A Special Events policy may be purchased from our insurance company, Missouri United School Insurance Council (M.U.S.I.C.). This special events policy is for one day events and is offered through M.U.S.I.C. (www.musicprogram.org). No group will be allowed to use district facilities without insurance.

    It is the responsibility of the individual who signs the application to read and understand the Regulations for School Facility Usage (KG-E-2) associated with using a Fort Zumwalt School District facility. This individual should also share this information with all members of the group using the facility.
